Candles candles candles!

It is safe to say that I have an unhealthy obsession with candles. And unfortunately it is not the cheapest of hobbies! After buying all different kinds, from all different price ranges, I have come to the conclusion that it is worth spending that little bit more to get the nicer fragranced, longer lasting, better quality candles.

The candles I am trying at the moment :
True Grace - Jasmine Tea - £25
Jo Malone - Pomegranate Noir - £22
Yankee Candle - Cranberry Ice - was £16.99 now £8.99

Yankee Candle Tarts - were £1.49 each, now 45p

Firstly my Jo Malone, it really is beautiful. It was a gift from my best friend Steph, for  Christmas. I don't use it that often as it is quite a small one but when I do, it does tend to last a while. Perfect for a relaxing bath! I am also in love with how Jo Malone present their products and wrap them up. To me that can sometimes be as important as the products themselves. Buying premium products, you expect the quality and service that comes with the price tag and I think this is perfectly executed in the gorgeous way my candle was wrapped. In celefane with a small ribbon bow, along side a beautiful box of long black matches and information cards all packed beautifully in the classic Jo Malone box in a gift bag. I will definitely be heading to the Jo Malone shop in York soon!

My True Grace candle was a gift from my boyfriend for my birthday. Although these candles are £25 I feel like they are worth every penny. Such intense luxurious scents.
I have had mine since October and has literally just run out tonight, although I don't have it lit every day I really do feel that they have a long life. The jars are really beautiful as well so I think now it has run out I will be using it to put my Yankee Candle Tarts in!

Finally my Yankee Candle bargains!! After visiting the designer outlet in York today I decided to take a look at their little store. They had all the Christmas stock reduced to half price and 3 for 2 so I got one jar and my mum got the other two. I also decided to get a couple of the little tarts to test out some different scents as I have heard a lot about them but never used Yankee Candles before.
So far medium jar in Cranberry Ice is going down a treat. As the little ones are christmas scents they were reduced down to 45p!! I may have to save these for Christmas this year as I can imagine them setting a lovely decorating the tree vibe!! (I am getting excited already and it's only just put the tree away like 2 weeks ago!) I was also persuaded (very easily) by the cashier to try the room sprays. For £1 each I am pretty happy with them as well.

Lush Cosmetics treats!

My first post in quite a while!
After my recent obsession with baths and bath related products, I decided to pay a visit to Lush for what must have been the first time in about 8 years!
And I must say, I was not disappointed! Along with some old favourites there, I fell in love with their more recent collections.
Being admittedly a major pastel addict the colours drew me in first! Soooo pretty!
After a some careful basket filling, I decided on the following:
Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar
Cream Candy Bubble Bar
Space Girl Bath Bomb
Pheonix Rising Bath Bomb

(I have used two of these already and I only went after work yesterday!)

Then I spotted my old favourite.....ROCK STAR SOAP!!
If there is one thing I do not need in my bathroom, it is more soap! As my best friend works at The Yorkshire Soap Co. She tends to spoil me rotten with all sorts of treats! However! This one I could not over look. It smells just so dann good! :D

Finally I saw the face masks, I didn't really have a clue what each one did or which may have been the best for me. It was then I spotted an old friend who modelled for my final collection. She works at Lush York and was able to help me big time deciding what I should choose! After discussing how I wanted something to help me with black heads she recommended the Cosmetic Warrior. Made from garlic, tea tree oil and lemon, it is one of the most refreshing products I have ever used and after using if for the first time last night I would really recommend it to anyone looking to draw the impurities out of your skin.

So far I have used the Candy Cream Bar and face mask in my bath lastnight and I got excited to try more so used the Space Girl Bath Bomb today. I will have probably used them all with in the week but I will have fun trying them and already can't wait to go back!
