What If I Say I Will Never Surrender - Lookbook Post

My Outfit post for the day!
I wasn't going to do one today but then THIS arrived! WOOP WOOOO!!
Haha I still get far to excited by post <3 I can not tell you how happy I am with it, I guess I wasn't expecting so much as it cost just over a tenner but I am really pleased with how the sizing has turned out. The shorts could be a little bigger for me personally but thats just cos ov ma ass!

Use this bag every day, wasn't to sure about it at first but now I just love it! As it has a long shoulder strap as well it tends to go with a lot more outfits than I thought it would!

Trainers are the ones I got from asos a few months ago, still trying to keep them as spotless as possible ha

Can't wait for the rest of my stuff to arrive, should have some more posts up some time after next week!

Have a great weekend!!! x

Parma Violets - Lookbook Post

A look book post from a few weeks ago I didn't have chance to post on here!

Purple polo skater dress - I made this myself :) I took the pattern off one of my favourite dresses that I love the fit of and made it up in a few different colours. I think this is my favourite as I love the lilac colour but also the jersey fabric is polo shirt material so would be a perfect tennis dress ^-^

Black heel Jelly shoes - The I bought off eBay for about £4, I managed to get them a few weeks before the price of them went up everywhere! I also used my nectar points converted in to eBay vouchers so I actually didn't really pay for them at all! :D

Sunglasses - These were also a cheeky eBay purchase Bought for just a few pounds! Anything ordered from Asia on eBay does take longer to arrive but is more than worth it for the price and I am nearly always very happy with the quality! Currently considering how much I need these in the other colours :p

The Flower crown - This is one of my own I make for my part time little business Roses and Bones
The purple one is definitely one on my faves! :)

Anyway, hope you like!! If you want to go hype my look please go over to

Thanks!!! xxx

I have managed to get a photographer and hair stylist to help out and 6 friends to model my outfits.
The setting will be the York Minster in the evening so there isn't many people about.
Very excited to see how the pictures turn out! These will be posted up in the next few days :D

Final Collection - The Final Frontier

My intent with this project is to draw together everything that I am passionate about and topics and subject matter in which I am interested in.
Working gothic themes through beautiful cathedral-esk architecture.

Looking at Stain glass windows and using the colour through a mainly black collection.

Looking at different ways of printing the stain glass images on to fabrics. Channeling my love of lace and threading it through each garment to connect them in to one collection. Using velvets, chiffons and lace as main fabrics.

Making surface techniques very prominent throughout to follow through from my previous projects.
Looking at Auguste Rodin's sculptures which I have always loved and Romanticism artists with similar themes.

Finally not forgetting my love for all things bridal. Channeling the bridal theme throughout my collection with out being too literal.
Large extravagant couture pieces but just not in the typical bridal colours.

Every part of this collection is a part of something I love. Through style, colours, theme, shapes and subjects, this is me.

I will keep my blog up too date throughout this project the same as with Precious Cargo as to keep track of my progress.
I will be looking into creating garments that are NOT dresses, thats right NOT DRESSES. Well I will be making a few ;) but I am determined to make at least a pair of shorts, trousers and a jacket/cape.

My first port of call is to scan, photocopy and print off all the images I find inspirational for this project, get them all together and go through them to get a better idea of direction. This week I will also be going to visit Cathedrals and churches to take pictures so that I can start to look at shapes and silhouettes.
I feel that this will be a good start and will give me a good sense of direction.

Making the most time consuming fabric in the world.

So after deciding to use water soluble fabric to create a new sheet of fabric.
I shredded 6 different fabrics in to tiny pieces and then stitching them on to the dissolvable fabric it creates a layer.
You have to sew over it over and over and over again which sent me in to some kind of weird fabric trance D:
I think in the end I had about 20 panels which took about half an hour each to make. Writing this down now has just made me realise i spent 10 BLOODY HOURS!!!! making it.
At least it looks cool!! haha
Heres a picture Nat took of me hard at work in my fabric trance.

Not one of my finest moments :/ haha

After cutting all the fabric and sandwiching it in to the dissolvable fabric and sewing over it (50 billion times) you run it under water and it dissolves away just leaving the same scraps sewn together .
I scanned in a small sample i made back when i thought this was a really good idea.

Here are some images of the bigger panels and the finished product. I also stitched my beaded spine from my previous post on to some of the panels to go down the centre back of my dress.

So many little things on top of other little things D:

Will do another post tomorrow with my final images :)

luv u beh!

I like the way you work it, no diggity!

This is my latest lookbook post, I posted it yesterday originally but lookbook must have been broken or something becuase it didnt do very well at all, either that or its shit! haha you'll have to let me know what you think :)

I really liked this outfit, originally I want to base it around my purple coat but then I prefured it with out haha.

This coat is from OhMyLoveLondon.com and it really has done me proud this winter haha.
The fur can get a bit annoying becuase it is attached on to the coat with buttons, but they just get caught in my hair and all tangled up ha.

I bought this necklace off eBay for a couple of quid shipped from hongkong :) It works with so many outfits!

Finally this is my OhMyLoveLondon.com skirt, I got it in the sale for about £7. Its a really good fit and i love the fabric, its all most like a canvas type material.

Hope you like this one :) thankssss!
